When is it Appropriate? Having your own internal facilitators for the BLI process will reduce your cost and increase your flexibility when running BLI workshops. Internal facilitators allow you to (1) maintain all company information completely within the company when running a BLI workshop, (2) run BLI workshops at a lower cost than hiring outside consultants, and (3) schedule BLI workshops with shorter lead times with your internal people. You will also be able to include special customers or vendors in BLI workshops to solve problems of mutual concern.
