A. Karol, Ph.D., NPDP
Dr.
Robin A. Karol is an adjuct full professor at the University
of Delaware Lerner School of Business Administration where
she teaches courses on the Management of Creativity and
Innovation. She is the former CEO/Executive Director of
the Product Development & Management Association and
former Manager of DuPont Consulting Solutions, an internal
business consulting group, and Director of Innovation Processes
at DuPont. She led the New Offering Development Process
which installed a newly revised Innovation process for growth.
She is a certified New Product Development Professional
(NPDP) with the Product Development Management Association
(PDMA), and was appointed its first CEO in 2005. Robin holds
a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from SUNY Buffalo and did a Post-doctoral
fellowship at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. At DuPont,
Robin held many positions including Research Supervisor
of the Virology Research Group, Systems Team Leader in Clinical
Diagnostics, and Quality Manager of R&D for the IMED
(Imaging Medical). Prior to joining DuPont, she was an Assistant
Professor of Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston,
TX. Robin has consulted with non-Dupont clients including
Colgate-Palmolive, TetraPak, and Mitsubishi Chemical, and
brings a wealth of academic and industrial experience to
our clients.
